恩施大峡谷概况
　　被专家誉为与美国科罗拉多大峡谷难分伯仲的湖北清江恩施大峡谷位于长江三峡附近的鄂西南恩施土家族苗族自治州恩施市屯堡乡和板桥镇境内,是清江大峡谷中的一段.峡谷全长108千米,总面积300多平方千米.峡谷中的百里绝壁、千丈瀑布、傲啸独峰、原始森林、远古村寨等景点美不胜收.自然景区则主要由大河碥风光、前山绝壁、大中小龙门峰林、板桥洞群、龙桥暗河、云龙河地缝、后山独峰、雨龙山绝壁、朝东岩绝壁、铜盆水森林公园、屯堡清江河画廊等组成.
　　华中理工大学著名的建筑与旅游专家张良皋教授实地考察对比后认为,恩施大峡谷是世界上最美丽的大峡谷,“即使走马观花也令人如痴如醉”.与美国的科罗拉多大峡谷论壮观,清江大峡谷与之难分伯仲；若论风景之秀美、景观之丰富、层次之多样,恩施大峡谷的沐抚段则远胜于科罗拉多大峡谷.而且这里还是巴文化发源地,人文特色浓郁,而科罗拉多大峡谷仅有少数印第安人居住.

　　恩施大峡谷有五大奇观：
　　壮美无比的恩施大峡谷空间宏伟开阔,景观层次丰富,山体变化多端,清江河谷深切,具有别于五岳的五大奇观：
