My perfect holiday
Last July my brother and I went on a holiday to Hangzhou. It was very hot that time of year. We stayed there for three days. We visited the West Lake, Qiandao Lake, and Linyin Temple. They are all beautiful. Sometimes in the evening we went swimming in the hotel’s swimming pool. As everyone knows, Hangzhou is famous for its tea and silk. We bought some green tea and Longjing tea there. We also bought some clothes made of silk for Mom. The food in Hangzhou is very nice as well. We love Dongpo pork and other seafood. They are very delicious.
We enjoyed our trip. I was very excited and happy staying there. I hope to visit it again some day.
去年7月我哥哥和我去了杭州度假。天气很热。我们在那呆了三天。我们游览了西湖，千岛湖，灵隐寺。他们都很美。有时在晚上我们在宾馆的游泳池游泳。众所周知，杭州以茶和丝绸而闻名。我们就买了一些绿茶还有龙井茶。我们也给妈妈买了一件丝绸的衣服。杭州的菜也很有名。我们吃了东坡肉和其他的海鲜。真是太好吃了。
我们玩的很高兴。在杭州我是又激动又高兴。真的希望有一天还可以再次游览杭州。

A Day to Remember
It was Sunday. Our teacher Mr Zhu led us to a park nearby. Usually we go to the park to spend our holiday. But today we went there to take part in voluntary labour.
We got there at nine o’clock. Mr Zhu divided us into three groups and then we began working.
The students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. The students in Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourists. They also cleaned the benches in the park. I was in Group Three. We went to the children’s playground and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard.
