经常看见to be adj.这种结构的形式,to be加个形容词在句中,这是什么用法?固定的吗?为什么不直接用那个形容词而要加个to be?
比如 We believe him to be guilty.
The teacher asked the students to be quiet.
The book is believed to be uninteresting.
为什么不直接接形容词
We believe him guilty.
The teacher asked the students quiet.
The book is believed uninteresting.
而非要加那个动词不定式啊?
比如The room was found dirty.就没有说to be dirty.
