二十一世纪是人才倍出的时代,如果说二十一世纪的人们不会说英语,用电脑就是新一代的文盲,这句话充分说明了英语在中国乃至世界的重要性!
我想,很多人都曾问过这样一个问题：我们为什么要学习英语?或许对台下大部分的同学来说,学习英语只是一种任务,仅仅是为了考证才学习的,我觉得很错误,我想告诉大家：英语的用处远不止考证这么简单,如果敷衍了事,可惜的只是自己.
虽然联合国有六种官方语言,尽管汉语是世界上使用人数最多的语言,可是在如今的世界,应用最广泛的语言却还是英语.
中国的人口最多,中国想要发展就离不开世界,要想在世界立足,在世界范围内寻求自己的出路,不会那种应用最广泛的语言又怎么能与世界的其它地区交流呢?退一步来说,我们个人想要在世界上闯出一片天地,仅仅局限于汉语是远远不够的,闭关锁国的历史虽然已成为过去,但它却时时刻刻告戒我们要学习外国的先进科学技术来发展自己、提高自己!而这需要的是应用最广泛的语言—英语.如果语言都不通,连最基本的交流都做不到,我们又如何来谈学习与发展呢?
走出中国这个狭小的圈子,你会发现世界上还有很多让你感到新鲜惊奇的事物,很多美好的东西等待着你去挖掘.
只要能说世界最广泛的应用语言—英语,别人就不会把你当井底之蛙看.
学习英语没有“速成”之说,学习英语也没有捷径,只有方法的好坏.比如记英语单词,低着头拼命默写就不是一个好办法.好的方法有许多,比如大声朗读,反复训练发音器官和耳朵,把声音铭刻在脑子里.这样既可以提高听力,又可以改进口语发音,还记了单词.默写只是训练了眼睛和手,可是它们不能替你听和说.
其实要从长远的国家战略角度来看,我们学习英语是为了更好的学习西方的先进经验和技术,从而更好的发展我们的祖国,只有祖国的强大才能使汉语走向世界,这样我们伟大的中华文明才能更加灿烂!
从我们自身实际的利益出发,也是为了让我们在将来的工作上有行走天下的一技之长,为以后找到更理想的工作提供一个有利的前提.
同学们,师夷长技,壮我中华,让我们一起努力把英语学习进行到底吧!
